Vlingo: voice recognition for iPhone

As we already spoke to you weeks ago, Google has sent in the AppSore an application that allows us to realise searches by Internet by means of a reconocedor of voice.

Then, the boys of Vlingo, have taken a step more and they today present/display an application to us that he tries to be a “whole in one” for ours iPhone, as far as handling by means of voice commandos talks about.

And it is that not only it will allow us to make searches in Internet (using this time the motor of Yahoo!), but also we will be able to do it in maps. In addition we can update our state in social networks like Twitter or Facebook. But most interesting of everything, we will be able to call to our contacts by means of voice commandos.

Evidently, this application finishes being sent and is only available in English, reason why the voice recognition is optimized for “understanding us” in this language. So for the Spanish speakers not yet he is very useful. But it is an application with an interface very taken care of and that works very well, reason why we hoped that soon he is available in our language.

Vlingo is available in the AppStore free.
